Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter and flour a 9x5 loaf pan. Hull and dice strawberries, toss with 2 tablespoon flour.
Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract and lemon zest.
Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry mixture alternately with milk to the butter mixture. Fold in sour cream gently.
Gently fold in floured strawberries. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Bake 55–65 minutes, until a toothpick shows moist crumbs. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
