  • 1 Baking sheet or tray (To hold cups while refrigerating)
  • 1 Mixing bowl with pour spout (Makes pouring gelatin easier)
  • 1 Whisk (For dissolving gelatin)
  • 1 Measuring cup (For liquids)

Ingredients

For the Jello Shots:

  • 1 box 3 oz Flavored gelatin - Cherry, lime, lemon, or berry
  • 1 cup Boiling water - For dissolving gelatin
  • ½ cup Cold water - To cool mixture slightly
  • ½ cup Vodka - Or up to ¾ cup for stronger shots

For the Sour Coating:

  • ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Citric acid - Or 2 tablespoon sour patch jello powder

For Garnish:

  • As needed Sour Patch Kids candy - Optional
  • As needed Additional sour coating - Optional for rims
  • Optional Whipped cream - Optional

Instructions

  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, add cold water and vodka
  • Pour gelatin mixture into shot cups
  • Refrigerate until firm (4+ hours)
  • Mix sugar and citric acid, then sprinkle on set gelatin and add candy garnish
  • Serve chilled
