Instructions

  • Remove pork chops from fridge 45 minutes before cooking. Pat dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  • Heat oven-safe skillet over medium-high. Add oil. Sear chops 2–3 minutes per side without moving until golden brown.

  • Transfer skillet directly to oven. Bake 6–12 minutes depending on thickness (1 inch: 6–8, 1.5 inch: 8–10, 2 inch: 10–12). Cook until internal temp reaches 145°F.
