Ingredients

  • 2 cups White sugar
  • 1 cup Light corn syrup - Honey can be substituted
  • ½ cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Butter - Softened
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract - Almond extract works too
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda - Gives airy crunch
  • ½ teaspoon Salt - Sea salt recommended
  • 2 cups Raw peanuts - Unsalted preferred

Instructions

  • Line sheet, pre-measure ingredients, clip thermometer.

  • Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water; heat undisturbed.
