Ingredients

  • 12 oz Spaghetti noodles - Cooked al dente
  • 1 lb Ground beef - Or substitute with sausage/turkey
  • 1 jar Marinara sauce - About 24 oz
  • ½ cup Diced onion - Fresh or frozen
  • 2 Garlic cloves - Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil - For sautéing
  • ½ teaspoon Salt - Or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes - Optional
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese - Or cottage cheese
  • 4 oz Cream cheese - Softened
  • 1 ½ cup Mozzarella cheese - Divided
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese - Grated
  • 2 Large eggs - Lightly beaten
  • Fresh basil - For garnish optional

Instructions

  • Boil spaghetti until al dente. In a skillet, sauté onions and garlic, then brown the ground beef.
